About

Adventurer, entrepreneur, photographer, lover of the ocean and sometimes a bit of a writing enthusiast. I know now that I have been put here to spread positivity and encouragement, as well as to share in the blessings this world has unselfishly offered us.

Born and raised in Florida, living for a short stint in the mountains of Tennessee as a child, my life has always revolved around the idea of discovery and experimentation. My passions include the ocean, and nearly everything that goes along with it – art, drawing, reading, singing in the shower and burning 75% of the food I cook. I’m working on that last one, though. There is a dream in the back of my mind, to one day purchase my own sailboat and take it beyond the greedy reaches of my wifi service. My life has been filled with opportunity, as has everyone else’s if we choose to view it that way, with recent travels bringing me to the nooks and crannies of the Bahamian islands, a few Central American countries, Hawaii, and a total of 36 out of our 48 states here in the U.S.

I love to make lists. But what I really love about a list is putting a check mark next to each thing I get accomplished, and then looking at it fulfilled, knowing I achieved something.

Also, my favorite author is Jules Verne – the complexity of the sentence structure when reading through his novels, and the shear genius behind the stories he has told is enough to inspire adventure and thought within anyone. If you haven’t read Jules Verne, make it a point to do so; you may come to realize that you, too, were meant for adventure.
